My First day

Hi all!

My name is Tamara Champagne and I am the new Social Media Coordinator here at Guilderland Printing. Since this is my first real job out of college, I thought I would take you all along the ride with me. This will be a great opportunity for both you and I to learn about this company a bit more.

About Me

First off, I feel like you should get a better understanding of me and where I am starting from. I actually grew up in the area, and went to Colonie Central High School. When I graduated I attended the University of New Haven for two years, until I transferred to the University of South Florida where I graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Communications. Like most college students when they graduate I was a little lost on where to go from there. Naturally I decided to go and work at Walt Disney World for about ten months as part of their Disney College Program. While it was a wonderful experience, it wasn’t a forever.  So now I am back here in New York and working for Guilderland Printing.

Why I am here

Now that I’ve bored you to death talking about myself let’s talk about what I’ll be doing here. My goal for Guilderland Printing is to help them grow and reach a wider audience. I have a lot of ideas for content that will be coming eventually, but this is a good place to start. There is so much more going on here than meets the eye. One of the biggest things I’ve learned so far is that they offer online ordering which is pretty rare, as well as super convenient; especially since they even provide templates for you. On top of that they handle rush orders smoothly and work with the customer to make sure they are getting the product they want.  Honestly it’s super interesting to see these people work and I cannot wait to show you some of it.

We’re just getting started.

In the meantime go look around our website, and check out our Facebook and Twitter; I’m going to be over on those a lot. Make sure to keep an eye out, we have a few new things in store. For now hang on tight and follow me on the journey, hopefully it’s not too bumpy.
